the lights on the eiffel tower come on for about five minutes at the top of each hour starting at dusk.  we were lucky enough to be there for a setting crescent moon...we saw the scene start to develop but were over a mile away and had to cover the ground quickly to get both the lights and moon in the same shot from this angle...
